Furnished apartments Hamburg
Furnished apartments in Hamburg split into two unhelpful halves: serviced flats priced by the night, and unfurnished places where a landlord wants a German credit report and a guarantor before you have even seen the room.
We sit in between. Four houses, all well inside the city: Mühlenkamp in Winterhude by the canal, Eppendorf among the white townhouses, Eimsbüttel quiet and green, St. Pauli in the middle of everything. Every room is private and furnished, and the common areas are unusually generous, over 150 square metres in Winterhude with two kitchens, a lounge and a coworking zone.
One monthly rate covers furniture, heating, electricity, water, fast WiFi and weekly cleaning of the common areas. You arrive with a suitcase and start living, and when you leave you take the suitcase again.
Rent, furniture, heating, electricity, water, WiFi and cleaning of the common areas in one monthly payment. No annual utility reconciliation.
In Winterhude a converted office of over 150 square metres with two kitchens, Netflix lounge, coworking and washing machines. In Eppendorf a former restaurant on the ground floor with ceilings up to four metres.
Neither a German credit report nor a guarantor. A security payment of two months' rent instead, returned in full after you leave.
The Wohnungsgeberbestätigung comes before your move-in, so you can register at the Bezirksamt and get a tax ID and a bank account.
In Hamburg we rent private rooms, not self-contained flats. Bathroom and kitchen are shared with the others in your flat, and the number differs by house: two to four rooms per flat in Winterhude, three to four in Eppendorf, four in Eimsbüttel, up to seven in St. Pauli. If you need your own kitchen and front door, our studios in Berlin-Mitte are the only thing we have, or a serviced apartment elsewhere in Hamburg.
It depends on the house: two to four rooms per flat in Winterhude, three to four in Eppendorf, four in Eimsbüttel, up to seven in St. Pauli. Each location page states the number, so you know what you are choosing before you book rather than after.
Winterhude sits between the Stadtpark and the Alster with cafés along the canal. Eppendorf is elegant and calm with the UKE hospital nearby. Eimsbüttel is green and down to earth. St. Pauli is loud where it should be and surprisingly quiet in the side streets. All four are 10 to 20 minutes from the city centre.
Yes, and they are separate houses: Alster in St. Georg and Downtown in the Altstadt, bookable from a single night up to 180 nights with nightly pricing. The difference is not only the length: short stays do not come with a registration confirmation, so if you need to register your address in Hamburg you need a long-stay room.
Yes. We issue the invoice to the company and, on request, a rental confirmation for the HR department. Project stays are one of the most common reasons people come to us in Hamburg.
Your own laundry through the WeWash machines in the building, the German broadcasting fee, groceries and toiletries. The security payment of two months' rent returns in full after you leave.
